Video Editor

Mika Studio is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. If you're passionate about storytelling, social media content, and creating visually engaging videos, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social platforms.
Edit long-form YouTube videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, and client projects.
Add motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music.
Perform colour correction and basic colour grading.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to produce high-quality content.
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Organise project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, AI tools, and social media best practices.

Requirements
1–3 years of experience in video editing (Freshers with an exceptional portfolio are encouraged to apply).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Positive working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
Experience with Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut.
Strong understanding of video composition, pacing,



storytelling, and sound design.
Knowledge of different video formats and export settings for social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Basic Graphic Design
Photography/Videography
AI-powered editing tools (Runway, HeyGen, Kling, etc.)
Basic knowledge of 3D animation or rendering is a plus.
