Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Happy Living.

The Video

Editor will plan, edit, and finalize video content for educational programs, social media, marketing campaigns, and community engagement. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and cutting clips, adding transitions, sound, motion graphics, and color correction to create clear, engaging, and empathetic stories aligned with mental health and wellness themes. The role involves collaborating with content creators, marketing, and subject matter experts to maintain brand consistency, optimize videos for different platforms, and meet deadlines.

Editor will also organize and manage media assets, contribute creative ideas, and adapt content based on performance data and audience feedback.

Salary - 15,000 per month Qualifications

Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production to handle end-to-end creation of video content.

Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of videos.

Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, animations, and visual storytelling elements.

Comfort using industry-standard editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or similar software).

Ability to interpret scripts and creative briefs, with attention to detail, pacing, and narrative flow.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote workplace and meet deadlines.

Understanding or interest in mental health, wellness, and empathetic communication is highly beneficial.

Relevant education or equivalent experience in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred.
