Role Description This is a full-time, in office Travel Agent role based in Chennai.

The Travel

Agent will plan and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and related services for clients and event teams.

Responsibilities include handling reservations, managing booking changes and cancellations, responding to travel inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation and itineraries. The role involves providing responsive customer service, recommending travel options based on client needs and budgets, and liaising with vendors to secure competitive rates and reliable services.





The Travel

Agent will also support sales efforts by presenting travel solutions, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to smooth logistics for events and brand experiences.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in reservations and travel arrangements, including booking, modifying, and confirming itineraries.

Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and communicate clearly with clients and vendors.

Candidates should possess experience with car rental coordination and related ground transport services.

Candidates should possess sales skills, including presenting travel options, upselling services, and maintaining client relationships.

Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with GDS or online booking tools, attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, event-focused workplace.

Prior experience in travel, hospitality, or event management is an advantage; a relevant diploma or degree in travel, tourism, or hospitality is preferred.
