Key Responsibilities
Prepare the Cath Lab before procedures by arranging sterile instruments, catheters, and equipment.
Assist cardiologists during procedures such as:
Coronary Angiography (CAG)
Angioplasty (PTCA/PCI)
Pacemaker implantation
Peripheral angiography/interventions
Temporary pacemaker insertion
Operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and other Cath Lab equipment.
Monitor patient vital signs, ECG, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure during procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards.
Prepare and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
Assist in emergency cardiac procedures and respond promptly to critical situations.
Document procedure details and maintain patient records.
Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment.
Monitor inventory and ensure availability of catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, and other consumables.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols by using protective equipment and minimizing radiation exposure.

Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
Cath Lab Technology
Cardiac Care Technology
Cardiovascular Technology
