Description

We are seeking a highly motivated FHIR Engineer to join our Healthcare Interoperability team. The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing FHIR-based interoperability solutions supporting Coverage Requirements Discovery (CRD), Prior Authorization Support (PAS), and integration between enterprise care management applications, EHR systems, and FHIR platforms.

Support successful implementation of CRD and PAS workflows.
Ensure interoperability compliance and scalability.
Collaborate effectively across architecture, product, QA, and development teams.
Contribute to reusable and maintainable interoperability solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in software development using .NET technologies.
Solid proficiency in:
C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API
Entity Framework / ORM tools
RESTful services and microservices architecture
Valuable understanding of:
Design patterns (SOLID principles)
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with SQL Server or other databases.
Familiarity with AWS is preferred.
Experience working on FHIR Project is mandatory
Experience with version control systems (Git).

Preferred Skills
Exposure to microservices architecture & containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, OAuth, JWT).
Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
