Skill - UGNX Wiring Harness

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wiring harness routing in UGNX, Electrical Harness workbench
Review layouts of wiring harness in DMU and define routing and clamping strategy
Understanding of functioning of various control systems, ECUs, Electrical- Electronic functions inside the Passenger cars
Electrical Packaging of EE Aggregates in DMU
Technical expertise in Wiring Harness design, Connector, electrification, DMU, packaging, and related Engineering requirements.
Sheet metal/ Plastic support bracket design
Implementing the Changes as per ECN

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE
Experience in OEM wiring harness design process, vehicle harness development, VAVE Activities, Harness weight reduction,



cost optimization role.
Awareness of future technological advancement in Wiring Harness development such as Battery, High Voltage will be an added advantage.
Valuable understanding of design regulations standards, Connector, and terminal selection for Indian and international markets
CAD tools - Unigraphics NX, L-Dorado, E3-Cable, PREE Vision

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors in mechanical engineering /electrical engineering or equivalent from reputed Institution / University PREFERRED SKILLS

Software –UGNX, Electrical Workbench, Team Centre, and MS Office proficiency
