Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive electrical infrastructure for data center projects. Design electrical distribution systems, power management infrastructure, and backup power solutions for data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and detailed design documentation using industry-standard CAD software and design tools
Perform load calculations, power flow analysis, and thermal modeling to optimize electrical system performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical codes, standards (NFPA 70, IEC),



and data center industry best practices
Coordinate seamlessly with mechanical, civil, and IT teams to integrate electrical systems with cooling, structural, and operational requirements
Evaluate and select electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, and distribution panels, based on project specifications and performance criteria
Conduct comprehensive design reviews and provide technical recommendations to improve system reliability, resilience, and overall value
Prepare technical specifications, bills of materials, and project documentation for procurement and construction phases
Support commissioning activities, testing procedures, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure successful project delivery
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data center electrical design and energy efficiency
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
