To support classroom teaching and student learning across Primary and Lower Secondary (Grades 1–8) by assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing individual student support, and contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist teachers in planning and conducting classroom lessons and learning activities.
Support individual students or small groups with academic and classroom tasks.
Provide one-to-one support to assigned students, where required, to enhance their learning and well-being.
Help maintain discipline and encourage positive classroom behaviour.
Assist in preparing teaching aids, worksheets, learning resources, and classroom displays.
Supervise students during assemblies, break times, field trips, and other school activities.
Observe classroom practices and progressively take on teaching responsibilities under the guidance of senior teachers.
Support teachers in maintaining student records and classroom documentation.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to promote students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Communicate professionally with staff and parents whenever required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (B.Ed. or Diploma in Education is an added advantage).
Fresh graduates with a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
Up to 2 years of experience in a school setting will be an added advantage.
Valuable spoken and written English.
Basic computer proficiency.
