Senior Editor.

The Position

We covers India's energy transition where it meets agriculture: ethanol, biogas and CBG, biodiesel, biomass, sustainable aviation fuel, and green hydrogen. This sector moves on policy, and our readers need coverage that explains what a notification actually means for a plant, an investor, or a feedstock supplier. You will lead that coverage and build the publication's authority, edition by edition. We are looking for 7 to 10 years in journalism, ideally covering energy, policy, infrastructure, or industry.

The Role
Lead daily news and analysis across the bioenergy value chain
Own editorial quality: accuracy, sourcing, and clarity
Build the publication's network of sources and contributors
Uphold the independence of the newsroom in every editorial decision

Responsibilities
Plan and run the editorial calendar across news, policy analysis, project updates, and interviews
Translate policy developments such as blending targets,



biogas schemes, and tender notifications into coverage readers can act on
Build sources across oil marketing companies, project developers, technology providers, financiers, and government
Edit all copy for accuracy, sourcing, and clarity before publication
Commission interviews and features with sector leaders in India and abroad
Work with the social media and content teams so coverage travels beyond the website
Recruit and develop reporters as the publication grows
Keep editorial decisions independent of commercial arrangements, and escalate any conflict that arises

Location - Kolhapur (preferred).

Note: We run several platforms under one roof. Depending on business needs, you may work across more than one platform over time.

CTC Range

Rs. 80K to 1L per month
