About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on POS Field Service Engineer to join our technical support team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering critical on-site IT infrastructure and Point of Sale (POS) support directly to our retail and hospitality clients. You will handle everything from unboxing and physical installation to network cabling and hardware troubleshooting.

Requirements
Diploma or certification in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates with relevant technical certifications, including Jetking, are welcome to apply.
1–2 years of relevant experience for L1 Field Support roles.
6+ years of relevant experience for L2 Field Support roles.
Basic to positive knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of basic computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
Experience with hardware deployment, POS machines, printers, and other peripherals is an advantage.
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, connectivity,



and networking issues.
Basic knowledge of Ethernet cabling, crimping, patching, and LAN connectivity.
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Positive communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
Willingness to travel frequently to local client sites.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A two-wheeler or personal vehicle will be considered an added advantage.

Good to Have
Previous experience in POS, retail technology, IT support, hardware support, desktop support, or field service.
Experience installing and supporting POS machines and retail peripherals.
Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting.
Experience with Ethernet cable laying, crimping, termination, and patching.
Experience handling customer technical support or service calls.
A valid driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
