Job Opening – Sales Manager (Rooms & Banquets)

Position: Sales Manager – Rooms & Banquets
Department: Sales & Marketing
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in hotel sales, preferably in rooms and banquet sales.

Job Responsibilities:
Generate room and banquet business through corporate, travel agents, event planners, and other sales channels.
Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets for rooms and banquet sales.
Identify current business prospects and develop robust client relationships.
Conduct sales calls, client meetings, hotel presentations, and site inspections.
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
Coordinate with Front Office, Banquets, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and follow up on leads regularly.
Participate in trade fairs, networking events, and promotional activities to generate business.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.




Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to increase market share.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements:
Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, with exposure to room and banquet sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of the local corporate market and hospitality industry.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/PMS software is preferred.
