Job Summary:

The purpose of a materials manager is to oversee the planning and coordination of a company’s inventory and purchasing departments. They are tasked with researching best prices, monitoring inventory levels, distributing supplies, and negotiating contracts. Also known as purchasing managers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Maintain and monitor the necessary stock of all RM

· Prepare the BOM for all the products along with the plant team

· Work within Plant to identify supply needs with MOQ and production schedules

· Prepare MID(Material Inventory data) related to quick moving, slow moving and dead stock of RM

· Maintain relations with supplier for better coordination and urgent requirements

· Manage the distribution of supplies in the organization ensuring strict adherence to FIFO and material traceability.

· Monitor inventory levels and access to the material and maintain the displays of daily inventory board

· keep 5’S and maintain all the documents related to customer audit and Quality Management Systems like IATF 16949.

· Oversee and support subordinates and current employees.





· Prepare and file detailed records on procurement activity, quantity, and vendors.

· Prepare PO’S and maintain the GRN entries also reject and return the NG material to supplier within perks of both organization.

· Inter department coordination to meet supply needs as well as the smooth flow of material.

· Supply chain related to import including FF finalization and documentation.

· Schedule the PO to Overseas suppliers.

· Tracking sheet/data and maintain all the import RM

Required Skills/ Abilities:

· Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in logistics or relevant field.

· Proven managerial experience is a bonus.

· Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.

· Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.

· Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

· Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.

· Aware about IATF 16949

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
