Bartender Job Description

A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service in a quick-paced environment. They create a welcoming atmosphere, ensure guests have a positive experience, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
Greet customers, take drink and food orders, and provide friendly, professional service.
Verify customers' age and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and workstations.
Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies.
Process customer payments accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Monitor customer behavior and promote responsible alcohol consumption.
Recommend drinks and menu items based on customer preferences.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory counts and cash reconciliation.
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff,



and management to ensure efficient service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsible alcohol service certification (if required by local regulations).

Pay: ₹9,586.65 - ₹25,000.00 per month
