We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SolidWorks Drafter to join our Engineering – Global Support team.
Role: SolidWorks Drafter
Location: Chengalpattu, Chennai
Work Mode: In office
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: BE Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Joining: Immediate to 30 Days
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
Prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings
Update and modify existing designs based on engineering changes
Generate BOMs and engineering documentation
Coordinate with design engineers and project teams
Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation
Support engineering projects and global design requirements
Required Skills
Solid proficiency in SolidWorks (Part Modeling,
Assembly Modeling & Drafting)
Good knowledge of Mechanical Drawings and GD&T;
Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
Experience in BOM preparation and document management
Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documents
Proficiency in MS Office
Candidates with experience in control valve design.
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility
BE Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3–5 years of relevant experience in SolidWorks drafting and design
Experience in engineering support or manufacturing environments preferred.
