JOB DESCRIPTION
Write effective, scalable code
Designing and implementing robust applications
Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
Integrate user-facing elements into applications
Test and debug programs. Ensure low-latency and high-availability
Improve functionality of existing systems
Implement security and data protection solutions
Assess and prioritize feature requests
Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Can handle customer communication
Excellent written and oral communication skills
SKILLS / PROJECT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Work experience as a Python Developer
Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
Minimum 2+ years of sound programming experience in Python, Unix Shell scripting, Cron Jobs
Must have experience using sqlalchemy (for python)
Valuable RDBMS database working knowledge using Oracle or Amazon RDS or PostgreSQL database
Hands-on experience on data transformation/integration scripting development
Hands-on experience REST APIs to push data into a destination system.
Positive working knowledge of GIT is required.
Knowledge/prior experience with AWS
Must be familiar with various types of testing, defect prevention activities & Quality Management
Additional Experience in CICD is an advantage.
Should be able to manage work independently.
