We are looking for a skilled CO₂ Laser Machine Operator responsible for operating and maintaining CO₂ laser cutting/engraving machines. The candidate should be able to execute production jobs accurately, ensure quality standards, and meet daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CO₂ laser cutting and engraving machines safely and efficiently.
Load materials and set machine parameters (speed, power, frequency, etc.).
Import and process design files from CorelDRAW/RDWorks.
Perform cutting and engraving on acrylic, PET, TPU, vinyl, MDF, paper, and other compatible materials.
Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and quality.
Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report major faults.
Clean lenses, mirrors, honeycomb bed, and machine interiors regularly.
Ensure proper material utilization to minimize wastage.
Maintain daily production records.
Follow safety procedures while operating laser equipment.
Coordinate with the design team for production requirements.
Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
Experience operating CO₂ laser machines.
Basic knowledge of CorelDRAW and RDWorks software.
Understanding of laser cutting and engraving parameters.
Ability to read dimensions and production drawings.
Attention to detail and quality.
Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ITI/Diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience operating CO₂ laser machines (freshers with relevant training may also apply).
Experience with acrylic, screen protectors, nameplates, or signage manufacturing is an advantage.
Salary
Based on experience and skills.
Working Hours
8–9 hours per day (6 days a week).
Overtime as required.
