Job Description – Heavy Vehicle Driver (Truck/Tanker/Hyva/Loader/Tipper)

Position: Heavy Vehicle Driver
Department: Operations/Transport
Location: As per project/site requirement
Reporting To: Transport Supervisor/Site In-Charge

Job Summary

Responsible for safely operating heavy vehicles such as Trucks, Tankers, Hyva, Loaders, and Tippers for transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies while ensuring compliance with company policies and road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
Transport materials, equipment, and goods to designated locations.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, brakes, tyres, and lights.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep.
Follow all traffic rules and company safety procedures.
Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle documents.
Ensure timely delivery and loading/unloading of materials.
Coordinate with site supervisors and transport coordinators.
Ensure all permits, licenses, insurance,



and vehicle documents remain valid.
Follow emergency and safety protocols at all times.

Required Qualifications
Minimum qualification: 10th Pass (preferred).
Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operating Trucks, Tankers, Hyva, Loaders, or Tippers.
Valuable knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.

Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial projects, mining, steel plants, construction projects, or infrastructure sites will be preferred.

Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions.
Physically fit to operate heavy vehicles and perform basic maintenance checks.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
