Role:
Analysis for Engine CFD (Internal and In-cylinder simulations)

Responsibility:
Perform Engine Level CFD simulations (internal and in-cylinder) for series production and advance engineering projects

Technical Competencies:
Preparing CFD model for In-Cylinder Spray and Combustion simulations in Converge / Star-CD / AVL FIRE.

Preparing CFD Model for Engine & Exhaust CHT model using Star-CCM+

Applying basic loading and boundary conditions for the analysis.

Interacting with the design teams and testing teams for executing the CFD analysis of engine components and suggesting countermeasures.

Executing CFD analysis activities for development, market issues and VAVE projects.

Should be able to perform post processing, result analysis,



discussion with designers and detailed report preparation.

Basic know-how of Engine parts and sub systems.

Conversant with engine performance parameters.

Hands on experience on using In-Cylinder software, Star-CCM+, Unigraphics

Engine Bench Level Testing method understanding

Knowledge of alternative fuels (Ethanol, H-CNG), 1D GT Power will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience:
B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical/ Production Engg / Electrical.

Minimum 60 % marks

Desirable:
M.E / M. Tech and project work related to Engine CFD Simulation
