Job Overview-

We are looking for a detail-oriented Transcription & Closed Captioning Executive to accurately transcribe audio/video content and create high-quality closed captions. The ideal candidate should have strong language skills, excellent listening ability, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy, timing, and readability.

Key Responsibilities-
Transcribe audio and video content verbatim or clean verbatim as per project requirements
Create and sync closed captions and subtitles for videos (films, web content, ads, interviews, etc.)
Ensure captions are time-coded accurately and aligned with audio
Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency
Follow captioning standards, accessibility guidelines, and client specifications
Handle multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
Coordinate with the post-production/content team for revisions and updates
Maintain confidentiality of all audio/video materials

Required Skills & Qualifications-
Excellent command of English (additional languages are a plus)




Solid listening and comprehension skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with transcription and captioning tools/software
(e.g., Aegisub, Subtitle Edit, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Understanding of time-coding and subtitle formatting
Basic knowledge of video formats and workflows
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Preferred Qualifications-
Prior experience in transcription or closed captioning
Experience working with media, entertainment, or digital content
Knowledge of accessibility standards (CC, SDH, subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing)
Quick and accurate typing speed

Education-
Graduate or equivalent (language, media, or communication background preferred)
