Job Description

:

Snapmint is looking for a Backend Engineer (SDE II) who can independently design and implement backend services that power our fintech platform. You will work on challenging problems involving scalability, distributed systems, and high-throughput APIs.

This role provides significant ownership and the opportunity to shape core platform components while collaborating with a high-performing engineering team.

What We’re Looking For:
3–6 years of backend development experience
Robust programming experience in Node.js (preferred) or another modern backend language
Experience designing distributed systems or event-driven architectures
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
Experience building systems in cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with caching systems, messaging systems, or streaming platforms




Familiarity with performance tuning and scalability challenges
Prior experience in a rapid-paced product company
Ability to mentor junior developers and review code effectively
