Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
Assess patients' physical and psychological needs and report any changes in condition to the treating physician or senior nurse.
Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs, intake/output, and clinical observations.
Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete nursing documentation in patient records.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, surgeries, and other procedures.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans,



medications, and discharge care.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of patient care areas and equipment.
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and continuing education activities.
Support quality improvement initiatives and comply with hospital accreditation standards.
