Job Title: Senior Accountant

Reports To: Accounting Manager / Finance Manager / Controller

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and providing financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.




Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Support cash flow management and treasury activities.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters and special projects.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Skilled certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level role.
Robust knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
