Job Summary:

The General Duty Assistant supports nursing and medical staff in providing basic patient care. They assist in maintaining cleanliness, patient comfort, and smooth day-to-day hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist nurses in patient care and daily activities
Help in shifting patients (wheelchair, stretcher)
Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, wards, and equipment
Support in feeding patients and providing basic hygiene care
Change bed sheets and ensure patient comfort
Dispose of biomedical waste as per guidelines
Assist during medical procedures when required
Ensure availability of basic supplies
Follow hospital safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications:
10th / 12th pass
GDA certification (preferred)




Basic understanding of hospital setting

Skills Required:
Positive communication skills
Caring and patient-friendly attitude
Physical stamina
Ability to work in shifts
Teamwork

Experience:
Fresher or 1 year experience in hospital/healthcare setting

Working Conditions:
Shift duties (day/night)
Hospital or field workplace

Salary:
₹10,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience & location)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
