Overview:

Titan is a leading manufacturer of watches and wearables, with a strong presence in the Indian market. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Officer - Plating to join our team at our facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This is a full time position in the Engineering department, and the ideal candidate will have experience in plating processes and a robust attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the plating process for all watches and wearables produced at the facility
Ensure that all plating processes are carried out according to company standards and quality requirements
Monitor and maintain the plating equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the plating process
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient production
Train and supervise junior plating technicians
Maintain accurate records of plating processes and materials used
Implement and maintain safety protocols for the plating department

Qualifications:




Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in plating processes, preferably in the watch or jewelry industry
Robust understanding of plating techniques and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Additional Parameters:
Experience with electroplating and PVD processes is preferred
Knowledge of ISO and other quality management systems is a plus
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an asset
Fluency in Tamil is preferred, but not required
