Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman with 2–5 years of experience in preparing electrical drawings for building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in drafting electrical layouts, power distribution, lighting, and related systems using AutoCAD while ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, layouts, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
Draft lighting, power, small power, earthing, lightning protection, and cable routing layouts.
Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical schematic drawings.
Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Architects, Structural Engineers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design clashes.
Revise drawings based on client comments and site requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision records.




Support project teams with timely submission of drawings and updates.

Requirements
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering, Draftsmanship, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in MEP or building construction projects.
Robust proficiency in AutoCAD.
Good understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, earthing, and fire alarm layouts.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Positive coordination and communication skills.
Experience with Revit MEP will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of MEP coordination.
Understanding of electrical drafting standards and construction practices.
Robust attention to detail and ability to work within project deadlines.
Team player with a proactive approach.
