This is a full time position for a Speech-Language Pathologist based in bengaluru . The role includes evaluating and diagnosing communication, speech, and language needs in young children using both formal assessment tools and informal play-based observations, followed by developing individualized intervention plans.
The SLP will work closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team—which may include teachers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other specialists—to establish developmental priorities and implement effective strategies. Responsibilities include delivering therapy sessions, documenting progress, updating goals, and modifying intervention plans as needed, while maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with caregivers and relevant professionals.
Additional duties involve providing consultation, education, and training to families, caregivers, and community partners on speech, language, and feeding development, preventive practices,
and evidence-based strategies. The role also includes supporting transition planning (e.g., from early intervention to preschool) and advocating for the child’s needs across different settings.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret findings
Set therapy goals and deliver individualized or group-based interventions
Guide and educate parents and caregivers on progress and home-based strategies
Participate in team meetings and cooperative planning
Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and developmental progress
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
