Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Experience: 5+ years

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with a solid foundation in Azure cloud

data technologies and hands-on expertise in big data processing, data modeling, and advanced

scripting languages. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of enterprise data

warehousing, data integration pipelines, and data analytics using Azure services and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure

Databricks, and Azure Synapse.

Implement data lake solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

Develop data transformation processes using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python.

Design and optimize data models and manage data flow across structured and semistructured sources.

Work with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

Utilize MS Fabric and related Azure services for analytics and reporting.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to build highperformance data solutions.





Apply best practices in data warehousing and data governance.

Mandatory Skills:

Robust programming experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python.

In-depth understanding of Data Modeling, Data Architecture, and SQL Databases.

Experience with object-oriented and functional scripting languages: Python, SQL,

Scala.

Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, and MS

Fabric.

Preferred / Positive-to-Have Skills:

Experience in Power BI, Snowflake, AI/ML, and Generative AI (GenAI).

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

Azure certifications are an added advantage.
