Robust knowledge of textile fabrics, weaves, yarns, dyes, and finishes
Trend forecasting and market research
Product design and innovation
Sample development and coordination
Costing and product feasibility analysis
Fabric and trim sourcing
Knowledge of buyer requirements and quality standards
Color, print, and pattern development
Vendor and supplier management
Cross-functional coordination with Merchandising, Production, QA, and Procurement
Time management and project coordination
Valuable communication and presentation skills
Robust problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems

Preferred Experience
5 to 10 years of experience in home textile product development.
Experience working with international buyers (e.g., US and European markets).
Knowledge of sustainability, recycled materials, and customer compliance requirements is an added advantage.
