Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Customer Service Specialist to manage end-to-end AP operations for assigned clients. The role involves invoice processing, payment handling, vendor/client communication, email management, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of AP activities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage client/vendor/controller communications through the AP mailbox and provide timely responses.
Process invoices accurately by validating vendor details, account codes, and supporting documents.
Perform payment processing activities including urgent check requests, weekly pay controls, and vendor payments.
Handle special payment requests related to tax departments, garnishments, licenses, and other requirements.
Research and resolve invoice/payment-related queries from clients and vendors.
Validate and enter invoice data with high accuracy.
Pull utility invoices from online portals, track, and process payments.
Process EDI files and maintain required cross-reference tables.
Handle stop payments, void checks,



and invoice adjustments.
Ensure all assigned client invoices are processed and paid as per requirements.
Provide backup support for additional client accounts when required.
Prepare vendor statements and participate in internal/client meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
Robust invoice processing and payment processing knowledge.
Excellent data entry/keying skills with attention to accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Robust communication skills with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Customer-focused approach with empathy, patience, professionalism, and adaptability.
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience working with AP systems, ERP tools, EDI/OCR processes.
Experience handling vendor queries and client-facing AP operations.
