Role Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive the design, architecture, and implementation of next-generation test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and proven leadership capabilities to elevate quality engineering practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
Define and govern enterprise-wide test automation strategy, standards, and best practices.
Lead the development of robust automation solutions for web, API, and integration testing using JavaScript and Java.
Drive seamless integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Mentor, guide, and upskill QA engineers in up-to-date automation technologies, design patterns, and engineering practices.
Collaborate closely with solution architects, developers, and product teams to ensure testability and quality-by-design.
Establish and enforce quality gates, KPIs, test coverage metrics, and real-time reporting dashboards.




Continuously evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and industry trends to optimize testing efficiency and innovation.
Champion shift-left and shift-right testing approaches within Agile/DevOps ecosystems.

Required Skills & Qualifications
812 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
Deep hands-on expertise in Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
Solid programming skills in JavaScript and Java.
Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch (BDD, hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven).
Solid understanding of CI/CD integration and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps preferred).
Demonstrated experience leading QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
Robust analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

Good to Have
Experience in API automation (Rest Assured, Postman, Karate).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
Exposure to mobile automation (Appium).
Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and intelligent test automation.
