Job Purpose

To support the Internal Audit function by evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies, identifying process improvement opportunities, and assisting in risk-based audits across business functions.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing internal audits as per the annual audit plan.
Review financial, operational, and compliance processes to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and business risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Verify compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and internal guidelines.
Prepare audit observations, working papers, and audit reports with actionable recommendations.
Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
Support special audits, investigations, and management-requested assignments.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect audit evidence and resolve audit queries.




Analyze financial and operational data using Excel and ERP systems.
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of audit records.

Required Skills
Solid understanding of Internal Audit principles and Internal Financial Controls (IFC).
Knowledge of accounting standards, financial statements, and risk assessment.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Qualified CA or CMA with 1?2 years of Internal Audit experience.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
Exposure to operational, financial, inventory, and compliance audits.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants for audit assignments, as required.
