Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing along with API and UI testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating end-to-end application workflows, ensuring high-quality releases across web applications and backend services.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design effective test scenarios
Perform functional testing across web applications to ensure business workflows are validated end-to-end
Execute API testing using tools like Postman or similar to validate request/response, status codes, and business logic
Conduct UI testing across different browsers and devices to ensure consistency and usability
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test data
Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
Identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA
Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues




Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Skills
Robust experience in functional/manual testing
Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman / REST APIs)
Valuable experience in UI/Web testing (cross-browser validation)
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with test case design and execution

Positive to Have
Exposure to automation tools (Selenium / Playwright)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Git)
Experience in performance or security testing basics
