Role Summary: The Assistant Channel Manager is responsible for networking and liaising with clients and franchisees to drive business growth. This role involves monitoring subordinate performance to ensure operational efficiency, implementing strategic growth roadmaps, and overseeing the end-to-end franchise lifecyclefrom branding and onboarding to collections and digital adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Tactical
Business Development: Actively network and liaise to expand business reach into recent territories and market segments.
Client Management: Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure high satisfaction levels and operational efficiency.
Market Competitiveness: Develop strategies to grow business volume and optimize rates to remain competitive in the logistics/express delivery sector.
Franchise Roadmap: Create, manage, and implement growth roadmaps to achieve specific sales targets; handle branding initiatives to attract recent franchise partners.
CRM & Support: Liaise with franchises to resolve customer issues and provide consistent CRM support.
International Initiatives: Support and manage international business growth and cross-border initiatives.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the internal team and channel partners, ensuring alignment on project execution timelines.
Operational Excellence
Sales Growth: Collaborate closely with franchises and recent customers to achieve consistent sales targets.
Performance Tracking: Monitor franchise incentives and goal achievability; track "defaulters" to ensure high levels of performance and accountability.
Financial Oversight: Responsible for monitoring and collecting payments according to strictly defined target dates.
Operational Support: Review team performance regarding bookings, delivery load collection, and aligning vacant delivery areas.
Digitization: Train the team and franchise owners on the adoption of digital tools and online operations for real-time record updating.
MIS Reporting: Provide comprehensive support to franchises regarding MIS (Management Information Systems) and related data reporting.
