As our Project Manager – Power Evacuation, you will lead the design, construction, and commissioning of critical power evacuation systems for large-scale solar projects. Your expertise will ensure that every megawatt generated reaches the grid reliably and efficiently.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end execution of power evacuation infrastructure, including AIS/GIS substations, bays, and transmission lines up to 220 kV and above.
Develop detailed execution plans (L1 to L3 schedules) aligned with project timelines, resource availability, and risk assessments.
Lead evaluation and performance management of EPC contractors across scope, schedule, quality, and safety KPIs.
Direct site-level construction activities covering civil, electrical, and structural works for substations and transmission lines.
Manage testing and commissioning of HV equipment including protection systems, SCADA, and grid interfacing.
Drive grid compliance testing including PFR, AVR, Reactive Power Capability, and Voltage Ride Through per CEA/CERC norms.
Monitor budgets, identify critical risks, and implement mitigation plans to prevent execution delays.
What You Bring
B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
15+ years of experience in power evacuation for renewable or utility-scale projects.
Proven track record delivering projects of 200+ MW capacity including evacuation infrastructure.
Solid command over AIS/GIS substation and transmission line construction methodologies.
Expert knowledge of commissioning protocols, grid compliance testing, and performance validation.
High proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and substation layouts.
