Role & responsibilities

A. Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, Environmental Acts, and other statutory requirements.

B. Knowledge to Conduct safety inspections, audits, HIRA, JSA, and risk assessments.

C. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; implement corrective actions.

D. Manage fire safety, emergency preparedness, and mock drills.

E. Monitor environmental compliance related to waste, emissions, water, and pollution control.

F. Conduct safety training, inductions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.

G. Liaise with government authorities such as DISH, Pollution Control Board, and Fire Department.

H. Experience to handle customer audit and external audit ISO 14001 & 45001.

Knowledge in ESG ( Scope 1, 2 &3)

J. Maintain statutory records, licenses, permits, and EHS documentation.

K. Ensure PPE adherence.

L. Knowledge to develop safety procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.

M. Ensure Safety Precaution in working area.

N. Knowledge about machines safety interlocks.

O. Knowledge to handle waste management ( E waste, Hazardous waste and other solid waste etc).

P. Permit to work system for Non- routine activity and maintenance activity.

Knowledge about LOTO Procedure.
