Job Description for Associate Engineer - Firmware Development

Primary Objective of position:

Work independently on software development projects. Iimplement the software consists of control functions, communication protocols, drivers and web page user interface running on Linux or a real-time operating system.

Develop software in C/C++ technologies and web technologies.

Job Responsibility
Coordinating and interface with other international design and development teams
Participate in project requirements, plans, and schedule development
Task planning and scheduling
Implement software in C/C++ technologies and web pages

Job Requirements
BE - Computer Science Electronics Engineering or Equivalent




Minimum 1 year of experience in software development in Linux workplace
C & C++ experience is a must
Experience of interfacing with communications protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol is preferred.
Ability to develop readable, robust, reliable, well-structured code is a must
Yocto experience is a plus
Web/CGI application background is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
Valuable Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
