This role is responsible for creating, managing, securing, and continuously improving Azure DevOps pipelines and related platform governance. The Azure DevOps Pipeline and Governance Administrator establishes pipeline standards, enforces policies, manages repositories and permissions, supports CI/CD adoption, and partners with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and automated deployment practices across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, manage, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for application, infrastructure, and automation workloads.
Establish and enforce Azure DevOps governance standards, including pipeline templates, branch policies, approval gates, security controls, naming standards, and repository management practices.
Manage Azure DevOps projects, repositories, boards, permissions, service connections, agent pools, settings, and release controls.
Implement CI/CD best practices to improve deployment consistency, automation, traceability, and operational reliability.
Maintain governance for code promotion,



change control, pull requests, release approvals, and segregation of duties across DevOps workflows.
Partner with security teams to embed secure development practices, credential management, least-privilege access, and policy compliance into pipeline processes.
Automate operational and administrative tasks using YAML pipelines, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform and platform-native automation tools.
Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability, and coordinate resolution of build, deployment, and access issues.
Document DevOps standards, pipeline patterns, support procedures, governance requirements, and operational runbooks.
Provide supporting administration for Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 services where needed to enable secure DevOps operations.
