Role Overview

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive new business development and account growth for an AI-powered fleet and logistics automation platform. This is a field-facing, target-driven sales role requiring robust enterprise sales experience, preferably in logistics software, SaaS, commercial vehicles, or fleet-related industries. The role involves managing a portfolio of prospects and clients while consistently meeting and exceeding assigned area sales targets.

Responsibilities

Develop new accounts and meet sales targets through effective technical sales presentations and utilization of support services. Source and secure new business in line with company growth targets. Manage an individual portfolio and database of prospects, current clients, and past clients up to 90-120 days. Provide skilled service and advice to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Contribute to the annual sales and marketing plan and target key customer groups in the assigned area.



Work with the accounts receivable team to collect on accounts and define credit terms that support payment and customer retention. Maintain a healthy and active pipeline to meet assigned targets. Stay updated on industry news, competitor activity, and product knowledge to perform optimally. Attend and participate in workshops and training programmes as required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of B2B/Corporate field sales experience in any industry. Prior exposure to SaaS, tech products, or solution selling is an added advantage. Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market accounts with direct client visits and field engagement is mandatory.
