Importance of the Role
As a senior leader on the Engineering team, you will set the bar for how we build, run, and secure infrastructure at Setu.
You will lead a high-performing team of DevOps engineers while remaining deeply hands-on, spending approximately:
70% as an Individual Contributor
30% on leadership,
mentoring, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management
We're looking for someone who can build platforms that make developers faster, systems more reliable, and infrastructure more secure.
You will own the reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency of Setu's cloud infrastructure across all products while partnering closely with Engineering and Product teams to embed DevSecOps practices throughout the SDLC.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 3–5 DevOps engineers, setting technical direction, defining the roadmap, and collaborating with Engineering and Product stakeholders.
Own the reliability and security posture of existing infrastructure by identifying gaps, prioritizing improvements, and driving remediation end-to-end.
Own Setu's cloud cost charter by improving visibility, accountability, and continuous optimization of AWS spend.
