About the Role

The Business Development Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding business opportunities across freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, contract logistics, multimodal transportation, and technology-enabled supply chain solutions. The role requires a proactive sales skilled with robust industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to develop long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Business Development:
Identify and acquire current customers for:
Air Freight
Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL)
Customs Clearance
Contract Logistics
Warehousing & Distribution
Multimodal Transportation
Supply Chain Solutions through Technology enabled Platform
Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and GP targets.
Generate leads through market mapping, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.

Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with exporters, importers, manufacturers, and supply chain decision-makers.




Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and solution presentations.
Ensure high customer retention and customer satisfaction levels.

Sales & Commercial Management:
Prepare quotations, RFQs, pricing proposals, and service contracts with assistance from support team.
Negotiate commercial terms with customers while maintaining profitability.
Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams for seamless execution.
Monitor shipment volumes, margins, and customer profitability.
Build Sales team in due course in assigned location with ownership of deliverables.

Market Intelligence:
Track market trends, competitor activity, freight rates, trade lane developments, and customer requirements.
Identify opportunities in key verticals such as:
Automotive
Pharma
Engineering
Retail
Chemicals
Electronics
E-commerce

Reporting & CRM:
Maintain sales pipeline and customer interactions in
