People Of India is one of India’s largest and most engaged storytelling communities, reaching over 7 million people across platforms. Through multiple social media channels, the community has published more than 1,500 stories, touching over 100 million readers every month. POI’s presence spans Instagram accounts such as @officialpeopleofindia, @kahaniyanpoi, and @swadespoi, offering storytellers and readers a vibrant space to connect.

This is a hybrid role for a Brand Partnerships Head, based in Mumbai. The role involves building and nurturing relationships with brands and organizations that align with POI’s storytelling mission.
You will be responsible for:
Driving revenue generation strategy and execution across existing and newly established IPs
Identifying brand partners and pitching / converting purpose driven collaborations with them
Working closing with content team to strengthen IPs and enhance offerings for partner brands

Skills Required:




Ability to develop and execute Brand Strategy and Brand Management initiatives that support POI’s mission and growth.
Skill in Brand Marketing, Media sales and broader Marketing activities, including campaign planning and audience engagement.
Strength in Public Relations, including relationship building, outreach, and maintaining professional communication with partners.
Robust communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch ideas clearly and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
Interest or prior exposure to influencer marketing, social media campaigns, or community-led brands is an advantage.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, creative workplace in office in Puri, with a cooperative and proactive mindset.
Pursuing or having completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
