The Managing Director will be responsible for LINAK's business operations in India and will lead the local subsidiary with its registered office in Mumbai and main office in Noida and Bangalore. The new Managing Director will be placed in Noida. The Managing Director will report directly to the Regional Vice President, LINAK International, at Group Headquarters in Denmark, and will be responsible for the overall business results.

Responsibilities and main tasks
The new Managing Director will drive LINAK's sales in India into recent accounts as well as developing existing accounts, creating interest in LINAK's products and solutions. Being a strong and experienced commercial leader, the new Managing Director continues driving LINAK India's successful sales to the next level of achievement. The candidate possesses a structured approach with solid commercial skills and will bring a solid record of exceeding sales targets along with proven (technical) sales leadership skills from an international setting — combined with deep knowledge of the Indian market.

Additionally,



the Managing Director is required to define and execute the company strategy in close cooperation with Group Headquarters in Denmark, while taking initiatives to develop the competitiveness of LINAK in India. The ability to promote and manage relationships with customers, employees and the LINAK Group — and to inspire, motivate, and enthuse employees with a 'can do' and 'make it happen' mentality — is of utmost importance.

A key aspect of the role is the ability to navigate the cultural distance between India and Denmark. Building mutual understanding and ensuring effective collaboration between the local organization and Group Headquarters will be an important leadership task for the new Managing Director.
