R Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data architecture that supports our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with best practices in data management and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures leveraging AWS services and data modeling techniques such as Data Vault.
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to create and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation using AWS Glue and Lambda.
Implement data storage solutions using Amazon Redshift and other AWS data services, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
Utilize AWS Kinesis and EMR to support real-time data processing and analytics.
Establish data governance protocols to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
Desired Skills:
Solid expertise in DevOps practices to facilitate the deployment of data solutions.
Proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, and EMR.
Experience with data governance frameworks and data integrity checks.
Solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices in data integration.
Familiarity with data modeling techniques, primarily Data Vault.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a data engineering environment.
