Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and programming skills, with hands-on experience in database testing and Unix environments. Exposure to contemporary automation tools and cloud platforms is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright
Develop automated test suites covering:
Functional
Regression
API
End-to-End scenarios
Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into automation solutions
Perform test planning, execution, and defect tracking activities
Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) for automation integration
Validate data integrity by performing database testing using SQL queries




Execute tests in Unix/Linux settings and support deployment validations
Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes

Required Skills & Qualifications
4–10 years of experience in QA automation
Strong hands-on experience with:
Selenium and any other automation tool
Java programming
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Good understanding of:
Automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, BDD/Cucumber – preferred)
SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Strong SQL expertise (mandatory)
Solid foundation in:
OOP principles
Data structures & algorithms
Design patterns for automation frameworks
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with database testing (SQL)
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and environments
Experience with version control tools like Git
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, AL
