Lead Proposal Engineer with solid experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals for international clients, particularly in Oil & Gas, Process and EPC projects. The role involves end-to-end proposal ownership and close coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead preparation of techno-commercial proposals for DCS, PLC and Electrical Panels.
Study RFQs, ITBs, and tender documents from international EPC and end customers.
Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, cost estimations, and compliance statements.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams for accurate costing.
Handle clarifications, deviations, and pre-bid queries with clients.
Support negotiations and order finalization with international customers.
Maintain proposal records, tender trackers, and documentation.
Ensure proposals are aligned with client requirements, standards, and timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
6–8 years of experience in proposal / estimation for Control Systems & Electrical Panels.
Knowledge of international standards and project execution practices.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
