Job Description:

BASIC PURPOSE:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading organization key projects and ensuring their completion on time, within budget, and within scope.

The Project Manager works directly with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to define project scope and objectives in alignment with organization strategy and business needs, and involves all relevant parties to ensure project technical feasibility.

The successful candidate is familiar with a wide variety of project management related concepts, best practices, and procedures, monitors / measures project performance using appropriate tools & techniques, and maintains detailed and accurate documentation as per the project standards

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops comprehensive project plans, including setting targets for milestones and deliverables according to established business objectives and adhering to deadlines.
Reviews, analyzes,



and evaluates business systems and user needs in order to properly define scope and performs gap analyses/ develop process maps to determine optimal short term/ long term paths to execution.
Collaborates with Team Leads/Managers/Vendors to translate business requirements into optimized information technology solutions based on the practical needs of the end users.
Works directly with internal stakeholders and aligned vendor partners, serving as key point of contact and liaison for communications and ensuring team’s actions remain in synergy.
Makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
Implements current solutions driven by changes in the business, as well as troubleshoots and enhances existing information technology solutions.
Performs quality control on the projects throughout development; Reviews and secures approval for technical and functional documents and artifacts as deemed required for IT Governance and SDLC of the project and/or team.
