Job Description:

An ITI Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Key duties include diagnosing malfunctions, interpreting blueprints, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety codes using specialized tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose faulty wiring, systems, and components using testing devices like multimeters.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections on transformers, circuit breakers,



and electrical components.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics to plan layouts.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
Coordination: Collaborate with other technicians or departments (e.g., HVAC, production).

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: ITI certificate in Electrician trade or equivalent (e.g., Electrical Diploma).
Experience: 1–5+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or maintenance setting.
