Position Name - Principal Officer

Location - Mumbai, Bengaluru

Experience Range - 6+ years

Key Responsibilities:
Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify and source investment prospects by building and maintaining a solid network within the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Attend industry events, conferences, and pitch sessions to discover promising startups.
Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process for potential investments. Conduct comprehensive research, financial analysis, market assessments, and competitive analyses to evaluate the viability of startups.
Investment Evaluation: Assess the strengths and weaknesses of investment prospects, providing valuable insights to inform investment decisions. Present investment recommendations to the firm's investment committee.
Portfolio Management: Actively support portfolio companies by providing strategic guidance, participating in board meetings, and connecting them with resources, networks, and potential partners.
Deal Structuring:



Collaborate with legal and financial teams to structure and negotiate investment terms, including equity ownership, valuation, and shareholder agreements.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
Proven track record of successful venture capital investments with a robust portfolio of startups.
Extensive network within the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Solid analytical skills and financial modeling expertise.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for supporting early-stage companies.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
