Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
Drafting & Design:
Prepare accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings including site plans, foundation plans (for kilns, presses, mills, etc.), structural layouts, utility layouts (water, gas, drainage, electrical conduits), road networks, storm water management, and building elevations/sections.
Develop detailed drawings for civil works related to current plant construction, expansion projects, and renovation of existing facilities.
Create and modify existing drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.).
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes), local building codes, and industry best practices.
Prepare detailed sectional views, elevations, and 3D models (if applicable) to provide comprehensive visual representations.
Collaboration & Coordination:
Work closely with civil engineers, structural engineers, architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers to integrate various design elements into a cohesive set of drawings.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g.,



Production, Maintenance, Safety) to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the designs.
Assist in coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers as needed.
Documentation & Archiving:
Maintain an organized system for filing and retrieving drawings, revisions, and project documents.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs from drawings for estimation purposes.
Update and maintain "as-built" drawings following project completion.
Prepare drawing registers and ensure proper version control.
Quality & Accuracy:
Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design specifications and drafting standards.
Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies or conflicts with other disciplines.
Implement and adhere to company drafting standards and procedures.
