· Lead and support the end-to-end execution of bunker deliveries.
· Act as the central point of coordination between suppliers, vessels, agents, surveyors, traders, and internal teams.
· Coordinate and track supply schedules, including ETA updates, berthing information, and delivery progress.
· Keep the Trading Team informed with timely and accurate operational updates.
· Coordinate the appointment of local agents and surveyors when required.
· Provide daily weather updates and operational insights relevant to ongoing deliveries.
Risk Management & Issue resolution
· Proactively identify operational risks and implement solutions before they become issues.
· Escalate and manage operational issues while ensuring all relevant stakeholders remain informed.
Documentation & Compliance
· Collect, review, and manage supply and delivery documentation.
· Support the Accounts Team by providing complete and accurate documentation for invoicing.
· Assist the Claims Team with investigations and dispute resolution when required.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational information within our internal systems.
Stakeholder & Team Management
· Lead and support a complex bunker operations team based in Mumbai. This team is split into regional sub-teams (Europe/Africa, India/Middle East/Singapore/US)
· Assist with the training and development of new joiners.
· Implement current measures to improve team dynamics and work balance.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence across the business.
Skills & Experience:
· Hands-on experience in bunker/Tanker operations.
· Previous experience in managing and supporting a complex team.
· Strong technical understanding of bunker delivery processes.
· High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced setting.
· Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with international stakeholders.
